Remodeling is relational. Relationships with our space, our family, our community create the need for change we’d like to see in our home. The best work is also built on a good relationship between homeowner and contractor. We love it when those relationships last beyond just one project and a customer becomes a friend and a loyal customer. One of our 2020 Projects is for just such a client. We first met the homeowners in 2015 when we remodeled their master bath. Remember this photo?

Alpharetta — Victorian Farmhouse

This genteel farmhouse in Alpharetta has classic lines, but was looking a bit tired on the outside and the inside was no longer working well for our homeowners. The transformation from tired to wow is well underway.

Atlanta area homes have long considered the Screen Porch as an essential. They are perfect spots for enjoying our beautiful spring and fall weather and mitigating the sometimes hot, humid, muggy, and buggy weather Georgia summers usually bring. Modern porches offer more than just a place to sit on a rocking chair snapping green beans, as lovely as that image is. An extension of the family’s living space, it can be a place to relax, entertain, throw a dinner party, play Monopoly, and so much more.

The BAC Team finished a job where we transformed not one, not two, but THREE bathrooms. This makeover went way beyond a superficial style upgrade, but transformed every surface and fixture in all three bathrooms. To make it more fun, our homeowners had a penchant for contemporary styling and their selections added a definite WOW! factor, not only to their master bathroom, but to the kids bath and powder room.

Despite the slow down for many due to Georgia’s Stay at Home order, our essential business has stayed busy. As you can imagine, keeping projects going was important to our homeowners! Kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms are all of vital importance to each of our families. Enjoy a quick tour through some of busy month of April.

This is a very unsettling time. Changes are happening on an international, national, and local scale weekly and sometimes daily. It is a great comfort to believe in God's promises to us and trust in Him for our daily bread. The Lord does all things well and he will provide for us as he has shown our entire life. He promises us that he will never leave us. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He is a great Lord and King and is very kind and patient with his sheep.

Renovations and remodeling many times is about taking an existing footprint and reorganizing or updating the spaces within to better suit a families needs; however, sometimes it’s all about a bigger footprint. Thinking outside the box.

Early this summer, we received news that our very own Hannah Howland had been nominated for a competition hosted by Atlanta Home Improvement — Rising Stars 2019. She made it through to the top 10 through a voting period and then was interviewed by a panel of judges to determine an overall winner.
