Our Process
-
Every project starts with a conversation. During this first call, we’ll learn more about your goals, timeline, and vision to determine if we’re a good fit and set the foundation for a successful collaboration.
-
Next, we meet with you at the property to walk through the space, discuss your ideas in more detail, and begin shaping the scope of work. This step allows us to better understand the possibilities and any unique site considerations.
-
After the site visit, we provide a ballpark estimate based on similar past projects, the current scope, and square footage. While early numbers may shift as details develop, our aim is to stay within a 10% range of the final cost.
-
To move forward with a detailed plan, we enter into a Planning Agreement. This covers time spent developing drawings, coordinating trade walk-throughs, and gathering material selections. It’s not a construction contract—it’s a way to invest in planning the project well.
-
This is where careful preparation meets collaboration. We guide you through design, selections, and logistics, ensuring every detail is accounted for before construction begins.
Site Review (for new homes): We assess topography, access, and other site factors.
Trade Walkthroughs: Our subcontractors visit the site to provide accurate feedback and pricing.
Design Development: We finalize the layout and flow based on how you live.
Selections: Together, we choose fixtures, finishes, and materials that reflect your taste and support the budget.
Detailed Budget: We compile quotes and build a transparent budget before moving forward.
-
Once planning is complete, we review the full scope, confirm selections, and finalize the construction contract. With your approval, we begin the permitting process and prepare to break ground.
-
With materials ordered and trades scheduled, construction begins. Your project manager will communicate regularly, providing updates, scheduling information, and flagging any key decisions or issues as they arise. Our team stays focused on quality, timing, and a clean, organized jobsite.
-
When work wraps up, we’ll walk through the space with you to ensure every detail meets your expectations. Your home should reflect your goals—and we’re here to make sure it does.
